The 100% Non-Profit Payout Model
Kick for College is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Texas. We operate as a strict non-profit association. We do not keep a single dime of registration money—100% of it is funneled directly back into the fighter pool.
Direct Financial Awards & NIL Funding
While our core mission at Kick 4 College is to champion the future of our student-athletes, our division awards are distributed as Direct Cash Disbursements paid out in full on tournament day.
In the modern era of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), we believe elite martial artists deserve immediate financial reward for their athletic excellence. Whether your family chooses to invest your tournament earnings directly into a college savings fund, use it to cover elite training and athletic gear, or deposit it straight into a personal account for your future—the money belongs to the fighter, paid in full, with zero institutional or academic restrictions.
The Floor ($32,000 Guaranteed)
Before a single fighter registers, our title sponsors secure a $1,000 baseline pool across all 32 divisions.
The 200-Fighter Multiplier ($62,000 Total Payout)
If just 200 total competitors step onto the mat, the prize pool instantly skyrockets to a staggering $62,000 in cash awards distributed live that afternoon.
The 70/30 Split
To maximize financial impact, 1st Place wins 70% of the total division pool. 2nd Place wins 30%. Third place receives no funding.
Official Scholarship Payout Guardrails & Disclosures:
To ensure competitive integrity, eliminate walkovers, and protect our non-profit matching fund structure, the $32,000.00 Guaranteed Pool is governed by standard amateur athletic parameters:
The 8-Competitor Division Threshold
To unlock the maximum baseline guaranteed division scholarship check, a division bracket must contain a minimum of 8 unique active competitors. Brackets finishing with fewer than 8 total competitors will have their baseline scholarship prize calculated as a direct 100% pass-through of all registration entry fees collected for that specific division.
The Active Match Delivery Clause
All scholarship disbursements are strictly contingent upon contested athletic bouts. A competitor must actively participate in and complete at least two separate matches (4 rounds of fighting at a minimum) of tournament competition to be eligible for scholarship check distribution. Walkovers, uncontested brackets, or automatic defaults do not trigger baseline sponsorship matching payouts.
Dynamic Bracket Consolidation
The tournament director reserves the right to dynamically merge adjacent rank tiers or age groupings if a specific bracket does not meet a minimum threshold of 4 active competitors by the close of online registration, ensuring every athlete gets highly competitive match volume.
Live On-Site Payouts
Winners do not wait for checks in the mail. Funds are awarded live at the podium on tournament day.
