Your $150 entry fee guarantees your child a Triple Elimination Tree—meaning they must lose three distinct times before going home, locking in a minimum of 12 minutes of continuous mat time.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY RELEASE
I, the undersigned parent/legal guardian (or adult competitor aged 18–35), hereby register myself or my minor child to participate in the athletic tournament hosted by Kick 4 College LLC / Kick4College.org (the “League”).
Voluntary Participation
I acknowledge that martial arts competition, specifically Continuous Point Sparring, is a fast-paced, high-intensity contact sport. Participation involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to minor cuts, bruises, sprains, fractures, concussions, or other severe bodily injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Release of Liability
I hereby release, acquit, waive, and forever discharge Kick 4 College LLC, its title sponsors, tournament organizers, directors, ringside judges, center referees, volunteers, and the venue owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of any injury, loss, or damage sustained during or traveling to/from this athletic event.
Medical Consent
In the event of an injury, I authorize the tournament medical staff or designated first responders to administer necessary emergency medical treatment. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any medical costs incurred.
MANDATORY RULES & RULES CLASSIFICATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By signing below, I certify that I have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the proprietary rulebook of Kick 4 College, which adapts standard safety parameters while introducing strict league-specific upgrades:
2.1 Controlled Contact Only
I understand this event is classified as a light-to-medium controlled sport karate exhibition, strictly exempt from state boxing commission rules. Any intentional use of full-contact force, intent to injure, or knockout strikes will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of tournament fees and prize potential.
2.2 Strict Zero-Groin-Kick Policy
I explicitly acknowledge that unlike traditional Texas point-sparring circuits that historically permit groin strikes, Kick 4 College strictly prohibits and bans all groin kicks and groin strikes. Striking the groin zone is an automatic foul. Any participant who throws a deliberate strike to the groin will receive a severe official deduction or immediate tournament disqualification at the head referee’s absolute discretion.
2.3 Equipment Mandate
I guarantee the competitor will wear all required safety equipment, including foam hand/foot pads, a mouthguard, a groin cup (for males), and a mandatory clear plastic full-face shield attached to the headgear. Open-face headgear is strictly prohibited.
2.4 Cumulative Mat Time & Rest Policy
I understand that due to the triple-elimination format, a successful competitor may log 40 to 50+ minutes of continuous striking in a single day. I agree that the fighter must observe the mandatory 20-minute rest window between matches to ensure safe athletic pacing.
2.5 Financial Payout Acknowledgment
I understand that scholarship funds are strictly non-profit payouts distributed on a 70/30 split to 1st and 2nd place finishers respectively. Third place receives no funding. The Aggressive Fighter Bonus requires a minimum of 8 competitors in the division bracket to activate.
MEDIA RELEASE
I hereby grant Kick 4 College LLC the absolute right and permission to photograph, film, or record the participant during the event, and to use such media for promotional, marketing, or website purposes on Kick4college.org without compensation.
